My shop/studio is located 6 miles east of Carson City, Nevada. With a view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and wild horses at my doorstep, where I apply my skills as a classically trained Master Machinist and a lifelong Artist in this most relaxing of environments.

 

My passions are development of ideas | design; and dreaming.

My sculpture carvings are a special thing for me. Putting life into a carving is a satisfying feeling whether he piece is of a real thing like human hands or an artistic expression, giving it life is very important to me.

 

In my commercial carvings I carve in any style, depending on the needs of my clients. On the commercial side, my carvings and turnings are in high end homes from San Diego to the Caribbean. I have carved doors and appliques for BYU's Primrose music room. I carved a set of 8 foot doors for a casino/hotel in Las Vegas. I have done carvings for Conrad Hilton's house in Los Angles . . .

My experience in machining, wood carving, wood turning, painting and drawing has helped me in my exploration of many materials, from steel to clay, plastic to bone I am as at home working with one as I am with another. Marble or cement the choice is determined by what the final piece is to be and where it is to live . . .
